What you’ll need to do

On the first day you sign up you will be asked some information about yourself and your CF.

You will be asked to track your symptoms every day for 14 days by answering 10 questions on the flower motif .

Day 1 day 14: Fill in the additional questionnaire, the CFAbd-Score, about how your tummy symptoms have been over the last 2 weeks.

Day 1, day 7 and day 14: Fill in the additional questions about how your tummy has been over the last 24 hours

Day 7 and day 14: Give feedback on your experience of using the app

The app will prompt you to help remind you when to complete each of the additional questions. The table above also shows when each part of the app needs filling in.

What to expect during the study

You are welcome to contact the study team at any point before, during or after the study using the study email address CFTummyTracker@nottingham.ac.uk about any questions you have relating to the study.

The study is otherwise led by the participant which means unless you choose to, you will have minimal direct contact from the study team. You will get prompts and emails from the app to help remind you to collect the data.

If you have any technical questions relating to the app itself you can also contact uMotif, who we are working in partnership with at customersupport@umotif.com

What happens after the study

After 2 weeks your time in the study ends, you will be asked to delete the app. Please do not complete the study more than once.

Once the information has been analysed, the research team will share the results with the participants.

Thank you for taking part in this important piece of CF research
